Dismas LeBlanc, 76, of St. Anselme, and formerly of Pré-d'en-Haut, died Tuesday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton after a lengthy illness.
Born in Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Phélicien and Joséphine (Cormier) LeBlanc. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of St. Anselme Golden Age Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Anne Cormier of St. Anselme; five daughters, Mrs. Lucien LeBlanc (Camilla) of Beaumont, Mrs. Fred Donelle (Lita) and Mrs. Mike Forsy (Armelle), both of Montreal, Mrs. Marcel LeBlanc (Rachel) of Dover, and Mrs. Joe Perkins (Josette) of Lynn, Mass.; three sons, Roland of Florida, Nelson and Ronald, both of Dover; four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Durant (Dora), Mrs. Julienne Richard, Mrs. Antonio Bourque (Edna) and Miss Angela LeBlanc, all of Moncton; a brother, Antoine of Shediac; 20 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated 7 p.m. Friday from Notre Dame de L'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré- d'en- Haut. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
